And whether you choose to book with me or not, you’ll leave our call with my recommended first draft photography timeline based on your unique celebration (this will help us decide how many hours of photography you should book) and my curated list of top-tier local vendors!

Step 3: save the date

After our call that helps you make sense of the Oahu destination wedding photography process, you’ll receive an email with a copy of your timeline, the vendor list, and a resource to help you fine-tune your ideal collection. If you decide I’m the photographer for you, a signed agreement and paid retainer will officially land your date on my calendar! Now, grab your favorite pen and check “book wedding photographer” off your to-do list!

Step 4: sAY “SO LONG” TO PLANNING STRESS

Between booking and the month before “I do,” I don’t have any homework for you. But I’d love it if you kept in touch! Send me that picture of your dream wedding gown. Ask me to help you get the permit for your Waimea Falls engagement or newlywed session. Brainstorm with me to find the perfect pre-wedding hike that everyone from your outdoorsy BFF to your elderly grandma will love (psst...Makapu’u Lighthouse Trail is totally the way to go!). Don’t be a stranger and take full advantage of having booked with an Oahu-local photographer as you plan!

Step 5: REFINE THE SPECIFICS

One month before you pack your bags for the adventure of a lifetime, I’ll send over an in-depth wedding questionnaire to find out everything from your final vendor list to whether or not Aunt Linda and Uncle Dave are speaking at the moment. Then, I’ll use the details you share to perfect your timeline, build your family photo list, and check in with any vendors I might need to collaborate with on the big day.

Step 6: “WELCOME TO DANIEL K. INOUYE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT!”

As your much-anticipated wedding week arrives, you’ll make your grand entrance into Honolulu feeling totally prepared and excited to enjoy every moment! With a final check-in in the rearview, you won’t need to stress over any uncertainties or forgotten details. Just enjoy a romantic sunrise beach walk at one of the secret beaches we discussed and an avocado burger or pork belly plate at one of the restaurants from my Favorite Oahu Eats list!

Step 7: say "i do"

I know it feels like it’s never going to get here, but before you know it, you’ll be walking down the aisle to a live ukulele cover of Taylor Swift’s Lover! And whether you’ve chosen to elope with just a few of your closest friends and family or you’ve decided to bring your entire crew along for the ride, I’ll be by your side through it all to preserve every memory. Just enter fully into each moment, and I’ll do the rest!

Step 8: sneak a peek

Before you’ve even finished your honeymoon, you’ll be able to get a 30-image glimpse into the way your celebration looked through my lens! Feel free to share just your favorites on social media or the entire sneak peek album with your friends and family. But I know that, even with a sneak peek, you’re still eagerly awaiting the full gallery…

Step 9: relive the adventure

Just as your wedding tan begins to fade, the ding of your email inbox will announce the arrival of your full, 65+ image/hour wedding gallery! Mix up a pair of Mai Tais and settle in to reminisce your way through the fully-retold story of your wedding day. Experience your celebration from another perspective, recalling moments you’ve already forgotten and even seeing a few you might have missed entirely! Step 10: treasure your heirlooms

With a gallery full of images you love, you definitely won’t want them to spend forever locked away in your email inbox. Let’s get them off your hard drive, onto the walls of your home and into the hands of the people you love most! Access to my print lab allows you to effortlessly create museum-quality prints and albums right from your digital gallery page! And no matter what you choose to do with your images next, you’ll receive a photo box with 70-90 prints and a USB drive as the first heirlooms of the new family you’re building!
